Day 02 Full day
HISTORICAL ISTANBUL TOUR; visit the St. SOPHIA MUSEUM
(built in 6th century, once was the largest Christian
Church in the world), the TOPKAPI PALACE (Imperial
Residence of Ottoman Sultans, with displays of priceless
World-class collections of artifacts, jewelry and rare
porcelain), the BLUE MOSQUE (unique with its 6 minarets,
and famous for its blue Iznik tiles), the HIPPODROME
SQUARE where ancient chariot races were held, and then
visit the world famous GRAND COVERED BAZAAR. Overnight

Day 03 Full day
BOSPHORUS & ASIA TOUR; visit the EGYPTIAN SPICE MARKET,
and then embark on a BOSPHORUS BOAT TOUR viewing the
beauty of the European and Asian shorelines on either
side. Cross to the Asian side to visit the Camlica Hill
and tour the BEYLERBEYI PALACE, the summer residence of
the Ottoman Sultans with its magnificent gardens.

Day 01 Meet at Kayseri Airport. Our
representative will meet you after the customs and
baggage claim with a sign YOUR NAME on it. Transfer to
Cappadocia where nature has scoured surrealistic
moonscape shapes, and the persecuted Christians dug
underground cities and churches during the 9th century.
Check-in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in
CAPPADOCIA. (D)
Day 02 Full day
touring in CAPPADOCIA; visit the GOREME Open-Air-Museum
with its fairy chimneys and dozens of cave churches
decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes
from the Bible, the natural Citadel of UCHISAR, the
pottery town AVANOS. Dinner and overnight in CAPPADOCIA.
(Tonight you may join the optional Turkish Night Floor

Day 03 After
breakfast, visit the underground city of KAYMAKLI (built
by the early Christians to evade Roman Armies). Then
visit the ZELVE Valley with cave houses and cave
churches. Transfer to Kayseri Airport. End. (B,L)

CAPPADOCIA BALLOON TRIP
• 06:00 am We pick you up from your hotel and take you
our launch site in the early morning.
• While you have your coffee/tea and snacks, we prepare
the balloons on the ground. The preparations take just
15min.
• At around sunrise, our balloons begin to take off.
• They rise approximately 1000 feet to show you sunrise
and extraordinary views of Cappadocia.
• Then they descend and float through the valleys,
between fairy chimneys and caves which gives you
excellent views to take pictures or videotape.
• The duration of this tour is approximately 1 hour.
• The Standard tour uses a 16 or 20 person capacity
balloons.
• Upon landing, we have a champagne toast service for
you.
• A commemorative flight certificate is given free of
charge.
• All our passengers are insured.
• At about 8 am, our minibuses will take you back to

Meet and greet. A short orientation tour. Then transfer

Discover the Byzantine and Ottoman treasures of
Istanbul. Visit the Royal TOPKAPI PALACE, home of the

minarets, the Roman HIPPODROME SQUARE and the ST.SOPHIA
CHURCH which is considered one of the worlds greatest
architectural marvels and the Spice Bazaar. Return to

Day 03 Monday Istanbul - Troy -
Canakkale
Drive to GALLIPOLI, through the European lands of
Turkey. Cross the Dardanelles Strait by ferryboat. Visit
ancient TROY, see its legendary walls and the replica of
the wooden horse. Dinner and overnight in Canakkale. (B,D)
Day 04 Tuesday Pergamon - Izmir
Drive to Bergama. Visit the ACROPOLIS, the steepest
theater of the ancient world, the Temple of Trojan,
Library. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then visit
ASCLEPION, the ancient healing center and the RED
BASILICA which is one of the Seven Churches of the
Apocalypse (rev:2-12). Evening at leisure. Overnight in
Izmir. (B)
Day 05 Wednesday Ephesus -
Izmir
Leave for EPHESUS, cradle of early Christianity
(rev:2-1-7). Visit the HOUSE OF THE VIRGIN MARY, the
ancient Ephesus, the ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM and the
TEMPLE OF DIANA which is one of the Seven Wonders of the
Ancient World. Return to Izmir. Evening at leisure.

Day 06 Thursday Sardes -
Pamukkale
Drive to SARDES (rev:3-1-6) capital of ancient Lydia.
Visit the Temple of Cybele which later became a church,
the famous SYNAGOGUE from the third century, the
Gymnasium and the new excavation area. See the Golden
River Pactalos. Lunch en route. Proceed to Pamukkale for
dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 07 Friday Hierapolis -
Aphrodisias - Antalya
Morning tour of PAMUKKALE, noted ancient spa, where pure
white travertine’s forms frozen waterfalls. Observation
of carpet weaving at one of the local workshops. Drive
to APHRODISIAS, the city of the Goddess of Love, see the
well preserved stadium, the Odeon, the theater and the
agora. Continue to Antalya for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 08 Saturday Antalya
Full day excursion to the ancient Pamphylian,
Hellenistic and Roman cities of PERGE and ASPENDOS and
to the award winning ANTALYA ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM.

Day 09 Sunday Antalya - Konya -
Cappadocia
Early departure to KONYA. Visit the Mevlana Museum, 13th
century Whirling Dervish Monastery. After lunch continue
to CAPPADOCIA where nature has scoured surrealistic
moonscape shapes and where the persecuted Christians dug
underground cities and churches during the 9th century.
Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. Tonight, an OPTIONAL
Folk and Belly Dance Show at one of the cave restaurants
in Cappadocia. (B,D)
Day 10 Monday Cappadocia
Full day Cappadocia visit, including Goreme Open Air
Museum, Avanos the pottery making town, the natural
citadel of Uchisar and the underground city of Kaymakli.

Day 11 Tuesday Cappadocia -
Ankara
Morning sightseeing in Cappadocia. After lunch, visit
the Agzikarahan Caravanserai from the Selcuk period.
Drive to Ankara, the capital city of Turkey, via Salt

Day 12 Wednesday Ankara - Bursa
Visit the ANATOLIAN CIVILIZATION MUSEUM and the

Day 01 Istanbul - Adana
Arrive to Istanbul airport. Our representative will meet
you after the customs and baggage claim with a sign YOUR
NAME on it. Take flight to Adana. Dinner and overnight

Day 02 Adana - Antakya
(Antioch)
After breakfast drive to Antakya, and visit Sokullu
Mehmet Pasha Caravanserai, Antakya Mosaic Museum, Grotto
of St. Peter. Overnight in Antakya. (B,L,D)
Day 03 Antakya - Gaziantep
Drive to Gaziantep to visit the site Zeugma, located
next to Euphrates river and famous for his marvelous
mosaics. Dinner and overnight in Gaziantep. (B,L,D)
Day 04 Gaziantep - Nemrut
Mountain – Adiyaman
Drive to Nemrut Mountain. See the huge heads of gods
(Apollo, Zeus, Hercules) and goddess (Tyke=Fortuna)
built by Antiochus I, King of the Commagene Kingdom in
the 1st century, and the man made hill, on top of the
2000 meters high mountain. Overnight Adiyaman. (B,L,D)
Day 05 Adiyaman - Urfa
Departure to Harran, one of the oldest cities of the
Mesapotamia. See the soil houses. Then continue to Urfa,
the city of the prophets. Visit of Golbasi & the castle.
Dinner and overnight in Urfa. (B,L,D)
Day 06 Urfa - Mardin -
Diyarbakir
After breakfast leave Urfa and drive to Mardin. Visit of
the Deyrulzafaran Monastery, an Armenian Orthodox
Monastery still in use. Lunch en route and arrive to
Diyarbakır. See the city walls, the market and Ulu Cami.
Dinner and overnight in Diyarbakir. (B,L,D)
Day 07 Diyarbakir - Van
Drive to Van, situated on the shores of Lake Van, at
5,500 feet, one of the highest lakes in the world. Visit
the St. Croix church, a beautiful example of Armenian
architecture. This church is located on the Akdamar
Island. Dinner and overnight in Van. (B,L,D)
Day 08 Van
Morning departure for Hosap Castle. After the visit
continue to Cavustepe, the Ourartéens site. Lunch and
stop at a local handicraft, KILIMS. Then visit the
Castle of Van at the sunset, to have a beautiful view
over the biggest lake of Turkey, the lake of Van. Dinner
and overnight in Van. (B,L,D)
Day 09 Van - Dogubeyazit - Kars
Drive to Dogubeyazit, the closest town to Mt. Ararat.
Visit the famous 17th century Ishak Pasha Palace, built
on a high valley overlooking the caravan route. In the
afternoon continue to Kars, small city which is a
beautiful example of Russian urbanism of the 19th
century. Dinner and overnight in Kars. (B,L,D)
Day 10 Kars - Ani - Erzurum
Morning visit Ani, was once the capital medieval
Armenian Kingdom, and later of the Armenian Bagratid
Kingdom from 953 to 1045 AD. Among the ruins of this
ancient city there are eight churches, a convent and a
citadel along with the main cathedral which has
alternately been a church or a mosque. After lunch,
drive to Erzurum the largest city in the eastern
Anatolia. At arrival visit the Islamic monuments from
Seljuk, Mongol and Ottoman eras, Ulu Mosque and Cifte
Minare. Dinner and overnight in Erzurum. (B,L,D)
Day 11 Erzurum - Trabzon
Drive to Trabzon on the Black Sea coast. Visit Hagia
Sophia and Sumela Monastery which was well known and
respected as a monastic centre from the 4th century
until 1923. Dinner and overnight at Trabzon. (B,L,D)
Day 12 Trabzon - Istanbul
Fly to Istanbul. Transfer to your hotel. Free afternoon.
Farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight
